Writing Consultation Appointments

Please note: all sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom.

Individual consultations for writing feedback are available for all Georgetown SCS students. You can come meet with a consultant no matter where you are in the writing process–come in to help understand an assignment, check your thesis, or get advice on the overall structure of your paper.

We have now officially launched asynchronous sessions as well. If you cannot find a synchronous timeslot below that works for you, feel free to try out asynchronous consults here.

Writing Consultation Schedule

Due to changes on Google Calendar, we have launched a new scheduling software. This software was live as of July 8, 2024. If you are scheduling an appointment for July 8th or after, you must register for WCONLINE (link) and make your appointment there; no appointments will be available on the Google Calendar below after that date.

Consultation Session Tips

To get the most out of your 30 min appointments:

• bring the assignment sheet/description from your professor
• have 2-3 specific questions in mind to ask the writing consultant
• make the appointment several days before your assignment is due to allow yourself time to revise as needed
• be sure to review the Writing Lab Policies
